This program will focus on the pressing issues confronting in-house lawyers who receive notice of potential workplace misconduct. Should the in-house lawyer conduct his or her own investigation? What steps can a lawyer ethically take to gather evidence? What steps can a lawyer ethically take in negotiations to resolve a workplace claim? What can a lawyer do to limit public disclosure of the misconduct and/or preserve confidentiality?
